Why is my electric bill always higher at the end of the year?

Depending on the time of the year, your actual monthly energy production may vary from the average monthly production specified on your original solar PV proposal.

Our solar PV proposals reflect the estimated average monthly Kilowatt Hour (kWh) production. In actual use, the kWh production will vary from month-to-month, due to seasonal changes such as sun angle, length of day, and even localized weather conditions.

Total system production may also vary from year to year. For example, a rainy February this year may yield relatively low energy production, while a sunny February next year may yield much higher energy production.

The chart below illustrates the seasonal changes that causes your solar PV system to produce noticeably less energy in winter months, while producing more energy in summer months.
