EMC EMC WiFi

Before You Start

If you're still using the same router, haven't changed any passwords, and are with the same internet service provider, try turning your device off and then back on. This simple step can often resolve connectivity issues by refreshing your device's network settings and establishing a new connection to the router. If doing that doesn't get your device reconnected, please proceed with the next steps.

Cycling the power to the EMC is a straightforward procedure that can sometimes quickly solve these issues. The attached pictures should help guide you through this process. It's important to note that the EMC has two sources of power: 1) AC power controlled by a circuit breaker, and 2) a 12vdc backup battery controlled by a fuse holder. To perform the reset, disconnect both power sources, wait for about 10 seconds, and then plug them back in. The order in which you reconnect them does not matter. This procedure can often restore proper functionality to the EMC and resolve connectivity problems.

NOTE: Systems without energy storage and earlier models with energy storage may have a slightly different design. The earlier battery energy storage systems can be distinguished by their dual enclosure configuration mounted onto a single backplate assembly. The 12vdc battery will located in a lower separate enclosure in this design.

1) Unplug the AC connection to the outlet in the main ACXIS box.
