A powerline adapter is a pair of devices used to connect your Enphase envoy
to the router. There should be one adapter connected to the router and another
plugged into the envoy.
Powerline adapters work in pairs. You should have at least two powerline products to
build a powerline network.
Plug the powerline adapter directly into a wall outlet. Do not plug the powerline adapter
into a power strip, extension cord, or surge protector.
Pair the Powerline Adapters
Place powerline adapters in two outlets close to each other. Make sure all
powerline device Power LEDs are on and not blinking.
Press the Pair button on one of the powerline devices for 1
second. Its Power LED starts blinking.
Within two minutes, press the Pair button on another
powerline adapter for 1 second. Its Power LED starts
blinking. When the Powerline LED turns on, the pairing
process is complete.
Connect to Router
Once the powerline adapters have been paired, place one in a power outlet
close to the router and the other next to your Enphase envoy.
With the provided ethernet cables, connect one device to the router
and the other to your Enphase envoy. After 5-10 seconds, all LED's
should be green on both devices.
Your Enphase system should be back online within 10 minutes.
